Kurt Weaver – You Can Play

The Free Expression & Constructive Dialogue task force will be hosting Kurt Weaver for a speaking event on March 14th. The event will take place at the Halton Room in Atkins Library from 4 pm to 5 pm on Thursday, March 14th. Light refreshments will be available.

Kurt Weaver is the COO of You Can Play, leading the team to meet You Can Play’s goals of inclusive sport through education, advocacy and support. The You Can Play Project works to ensure the safety and inclusion for all who participate in sports, including LGBTQ+ athletes, coaches and fans. Kurt came to YCP from several years in campaign politics as a fundraiser and campaign manager; and USA Rugby where he was Head of Rugby Development and COO for 10 years.
